I didn’t believe it
until I decided to explore it Halloween night of 2018.
I was standing on the bottom of the spooky wooden staircase.
I glazed up towards the mansion, I was scared but I built up the courage to go in
side. Legs shaking, I grabbed my flashlight and made my way up to the
mansion. I made it up to the door, as I reached for the door knob lightning
flashed and a figure appeared in the window above. I was scared, but I
continued into the house. The first thing I noticed was a grandfather clock in
the corner of the room, but the clock was moving backwards. I kept on walking
when I came upon stairs, at the very top was a corridor. I made my way up the
stairs and when I got to the top noticed the lights were flashing.
I walked towards a door at the end of the corridor and took glances at the
pictures on the wall. I stopped when I noticed a picture of a man and a woman, I
wonder who it could be? I made it to the door on the end of the corridor,
I hesitated when I listened into the room and heard a voice. I couldn’t make out
what the voice was saying, so I slowly opened the door. The first thing I noticed
when I walked in was the window. I suddenly realized that this is the room I
saw the figure in! I slowly walked in and approached the window…
I looked behind me and saw a rocking chair next to a baby cradle.
The chair slowly started rocking, slow at first and it slowly sped up.
I was horrified! I sprinted out the door and down the corridor! I tripped when I
got to the bottom of the stairs, but I quickly jumped to my feet!
The front door slammed open by itself, but I wasn’t complaining!
I quickly ran down the wooden stairs going up to the mansion and sprinted
all the way home! I never went back again, but sometimes when I pass it, I feel
chills.

That was a good story. One thing you could of changed was where you were before you went to the mansion. It was good though.
