The Blood and The Blisters
Reality TV Show

After Haley gets back from school she sets her backpack on the floor and makes a protein shake. Today she has gymnastics, as she's drinking her protein shake she writes down her goals for the day. Today she wants to land her standing front on the beam and her back tumbling pass, round off back handspring full-twisting double back. She can do it in practice but when it comes to meets her nerves get the best of her. None of Haley's friends know she does gymnastics but they will when she makes it to the big o "The Olympics"! It's now 3:15 and she needs to get ready for gym. Haley packs a snack, celery and almond butter and she sets off to gymnastics. Haley gets to gym and immediately starts stretching and warming up. Today they're working beam and bars. She hops on a high beam and starts warming up aerials, and back layouts. "Keep your eyes up Haley" says her coach. Today was clinic day, a former gymnast comes to do a motivational talk to the team. After the talk she feels really inspired and remembers what he said, "one day or day one". Haley goes back to beam and she said to herself that today is the day. After many falls, scrapes and bruises she made her standing front. She was so excited!! She got a drink of water and head over to bars. She puts on her grips and does a kip, cast to handstand and jumps to the high bar. She completes two full full giants and peels off the bars. She sat there for a few seconds and looked at her hands. She got three rips. two on her right hand and one on her left. She puts hand sanitizer on them to numb it and goes back after putting chalk on. She made her three giants that are required , pac salto to low bar then did a kip back to the high bar. Now for her dismount, flyaway double layout. She does it with no corrections and does a big college salute. After a dreadful hour of conditioning she sees her mom has pulled up to pick her up. It's now 8:02 when she gets in the car and tells her mom,"Today was a great day" then shows her mom her hands, her blood and her blisters.

  1. Good Job! I really liked the story. It was super entertaining and I loved hearing about the things you do. One thing I'd watch out for is capital letters. There was one sentence that the first letter was not capitalized. Overall super entertaining story!!!
