Mock Job Interview: Burger King

I decided to interview my 8 year old sister, Charlotte. She is interviewing for a job at Burger King.

Q: Why do you want to work here?
A: 'Cause I like hamburgers. Oh, and fries. I like fries.

Q: What do you think would make you a good employee?
A: I'm awesome and fun to play with. I'm good at talking and listening. (I'm actually not that good at listening.)

Q: Do you have any past experience?
A: Well, I actually kinda don't, cause I'm 8.

Q: Describe the perfect employee. What attributes do they have?
A: They would be good at making burgers and fries. Mmm, I love burgers and fries. Oh, they would also be good at saying hi to people, like "Hi, can i take your order?" They would also be like (thinking face).

Q: What are your weaknesses?
A: Terrible at listening. Get distracted easily. That's about it.

Q: Do you work well with others?
A: Not really, I don't work that well with others. People are just terrible. I can't think of what they want if they're mean.

Q: What is the Burger King Mascot?
A: Why would I know? I don't eat there a lot.

With these answers, I would probably not hire her. I don't think that she understands how this exactly works. She says that she would be a really good employee, although there were several things that she should have not done. She said cause a lot, and she had bad reasons. This interview will help me with my job interview in CCA.

  4. I LOVED that you did a real interview, tongue-in-cheek, without breaking character, but still fulfilled the requirements. This cracked me up too. She rocked owning her honesty.
