Asking my Parents About Their Days
At dinner, I sat down with my parents and asked them
about their days. I learned some things about what they do
while I’m at school, and had a good conversation. We usually
eat as a family, unless it is an evening with a lot going on. I
actually forgot to ask during dinner, so I asked them after
dinner before we were supposed to go to bed.
I asked about my dad’s day first. He told me that he
just did his usual work, and I asked him what that meant.
He said that he was working with a company in Australia!
He also said that he went to my uncle’s house and helped
him lay down rocks in his backyard. Then, I asked my mom
about her day. Her day was pretty crazy so I understood why
she was always laying down when she has downtime. She told
me about how she drives so much during the day, and how she
was usually stressed a lot because of all of the things she has
to get done. I realized that I should ask them more often because
it is really interesting to hear about it!

I liked how you told us a little part of your parents day. One thing you could of added was a little more detail about their day. other than that it was good.
ReplyDeleteI liked your response! One thing I would focus on would be to add in more detail and make it slightly longer. Other than that I enjoyed this!!
ReplyDeleteGood job! I like how you added detail about who your dad is working with. One thing you could fix though is adding more detail...
ReplyDeleteWonderful Katie! YAY!! Sounds like great conversations, keep them going. Yes, more detail is good, which you'll totally get with continuing to talk. Well done:)
