What Makes a Good Friend?
There are many different concepts that it takes for someone to be a good true friend. But at the
same time, it’s not hard! From my point of view, I think that what it takes to be a good friend is:
someone who makes you happy. Someone who includes you and always makes you feel welcome.
They make fun memories with you have similarities with you and tease you. Make you feel better
when your sad and look out for you. They also compliment you and influence you for the good.
Here are some of the
responses I got from a couple of my many true friends. (;
Q: What makes a true friend?
A: Person #1
Well what makes a good friend is you feel like you can tell them anything and they won’t judge you
ever. They will also always be there when you are sad and are super loyal. They always will keep a
secret and they should never pressure you into doing something you don’t want to do. They will
always comfort you and make sure you’re happy and they will also always talk to you and make
sure they feel included.
A: Person #2
What makes a good friend is someone listens to you and is interested in you.
A: Person #3
A person who makes a good friend is someone who is loyal and someone who you can trust.
Another thing that makes up a good friend is someone who truly cares about you and would never
talk behind anybody’s back. A good friend will never leave you for someone and always include
you in everything.

  1. Great read Lucy!! You did a really good job on being clear. You had a good title. The only thing that I would fix is to remember to put it back so it doesn't go clear off the page. Keep it up!!!!

  3. I like how you interviewed 3 of your closest friends to see what they say. Next time you should try to fix the words that flew off of the page otherwise Good Job!

  4. Good work here Lucy. I like the format and what you learned. I'd add a summary at the end to tie-it-up so it doesn't end abruptly. And...because I'm nice...I fixed the flying words:)
