Learning to Crochet
I recently took the opportunity to learn how to crochet. My step-grandma Sharon
was able to teach me this skill. My sister and I would go to her house after school
and practice with her for a couple of hours. Sharon started out by giving us each
our own crochet hook. She showed us the first few basic stitches. We picked it up
quickly and got into more complex stitches.

We made many things during these after school hours. Some of these items
included, dish towels, beanies, and hair ties. This was a good experience for me
to have had. I was able to learn a new skill that I could benefit from. Learning to
crochet has opened a new door for me, I am very happy that I had that opportunity.

I could use a beanie, sign me up! how much would that cost, or would you make me one in the name of friendship?
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic skill! I'm jealous, I never could quite get the hang of it:) Great skill and even better that you had time with family to learn it!
