My Life In Seventh Grade

By: Lilly Wittwer

Scene One:
(It's only 7:20 when my mom comes in to wake me up)
Mom: Lilly, wake up! You have to shower and get ready for school.
Lilly: Uggh, already? It's only 7:20!
Mom: Like I said before, you have to shower.
Lilly: Mom, it doesn't take me that long to shower!
Mom: Yes. It does.
(Grumbling and muttering visibly, I get in the shower and get ready for school)

Scene Two:
(Lilly, Ashlee, Alexa, and Ava are walking in the halls from math)
Lilly: Hi
Ashlee: Hi. Guess what guys...It's Friday!
Alexa: Yep.
Lilly: Did you just figure that out?
(Audience laughter)
Ashlee: Kind of.
Ava: Wow.

Scene Three:
(Lilly arrives home from school, about 2:20)
Lilly: Hmm...I have homework, but I really want to read! I think I'll just read for a little while, then do my homework.
(About a half hour later, Stockton and Jake get home...uggh)
Stockton: (Talking to his friend on his head phones) guys, someone's shooting at me! Wait, no I killed him. Guys, I think we can take the dub on this one!
Lilly: Really?! Stockton, get off Fort Nite, you addict!
(Audience laughter)
(Lilly walks over to the computer to do her homework, when suddenly her brother Jacob flies out of nowhere)
Jacob: I call the computer!
Lilly: I was right about to use the computer!
Jacob: Well, I have to do homework.
Lilly: I have homework too!
Jacob: Suck it.
(Audience laughter)
Lilly: Why do I have three older brothers? Why can't I have a sister my age?

The End
Credits rolling: Composer: Lilly,  Sound Track: Lilly (wait, there's a sound track?)  Main character: Lilly,  Lead Actress: Lilly,  (you know, I'm starting to notice a pattern, can't put my finger on it though...)

  1. I like it, you sure do know how to write a script.
I also liked how you added the audience laughter and credits.
A way to improve is to make the actions bigger.

  2. Older brothers really do suck! I liked how you gave yourself all the credits... One thing you could fix is make it a little longer, otherwise good job!

  3. I liked how you designed your writing. It is very organized. Next time to improve make every line a sentence instead of a few words. Great job, keep it up!

  5. Hey Lilly! Amazing script, I loved all how you put in things that would actually be in a TV show. However maybe next time you could try adding a bit more detail to it. Besides that I really enjoyed it.
