A Family Comedy

Episode 10 S1-The Day 8 became 7

7:56 AM shows on a clock in a dark basement.

The camera peeks into to four different rooms showing a pair of people in each room,
then goes into a living room showing Ashlie and her sister asleep on a coach.

At 8 AM an alarm goes off in one of the rooms.

“Everyone get up!” a deep voice yelled.

The sound of stumbles fill the basement. Everyone starts brushing out their hair and teeth,
changing  into new clothes and packing up their bags. Lights flicker on and everyone meets
in the living room with their stuff in their hands.

“Ready to go?” Ashlie’s dad asked.

Yeahs filled the room and all ten of them headed up the stairs. When they got to the top of the
stairs they were greeted by a tall man smiling man.

“Thanks again Jeff, for letting us stay.” said Ashlie’s dad.

“No problem, come anytime.” the tall man said. “Good luck in Dallas, see you in two!”
he said hugging Jesse (Ashlie’s brother).

They all headed out the door and filled into their black Ford Excursion. As they drove,
Jennifer (Ashlie’s mom) started sniffling. Which made everyone start sniffling.
When they reached the MTC (Missionary Training Center), everyone started crying. Everyone
got out of the car.

“If you guys keep on crying you are going to make me cry.” said Jessing holding back his tears.
Jennifer hugged Jesse then stepped back so everyone else could hug him.

“Goodbye guys, I love you all.” Jesse said while hugging Ashlie. He walked into the building
with another missionary.

Everyone got into the car while wiping their eyes. Dave put on sunglasses to hide his red eyes.

“What do you guys want for breakfast?” Jennifer asked sniffling.

“How about Black Bear Diner?” Xela said.

“Sounds good to me.” said Dave pulling out of the MTC.

The camera shows the black excursion traveling on the busy roads of provo.

When the family gets to the Black Bear Diner they all get out and walk in.

“How many in your party?” a waitress asks.

“9.” Dave says.

“How are we going to share, if there’s an uneven number?” Ashlie asks as the waitress leads them to a table in the back.

“We’ll figure it out.” Jennifer says sitting down.

They order pancakes and sit in silence.

“Hey remember when Jesse held Harley (a small yorkie) over his face and she peed on him?”
says Damon trying to lighten the mood. Everyone started laughing, and sharing other memories.

End credits fill the screen and in the back you can see the happy family eating pancakes and laughing.
