Top 10 things to know about being in Honors Language Arts.

#1 NEVER Procrastinate.
If you procrastinate then you will forget a lot of stuff, then you will get on the teachers bad side, plus your grade will drop. So just don't do it.

#2 Don't Talk While the Teacher is Talking.
Not only is this extremely rude, but it's very disrespectful. Your teacher puts her/his back out trying to do whats best for you so you should just listen.

#3 Be Proactive.
If you are in honors, then you should know that you already have a lot of work to do, so instead of just sitting around doing nothing, work on some extra assignments, get extra credit, read, or something, anything! Just don't sit around doing nothing.

#4 Read.
You have to read an insane amount of books in Honors LA, so you should always be reading anytime you can.

#5 Have Fun!
Even though this is Honors and its gonna be hard, try and have little fun while your doing it all.

#6 Check the Blog and Powerschool a lot.
Mrs. Robins updates and is on the blog a lot, so keep on checking on it as often as possible. Also you want to check powerschool a lot to see if your teacher has made any mistakes. (Not that it happens a lot)

#7 Be Kind.
Every-one has their own stuff that they're going through so be kind to everyone and everyone will get a long and you will have a great year!

#8 Do your best work.
If you want to get a good grade on everything and be successful in life, then do your best work the first time. It will get you a better grade and you won't have to redo the assignment.

#9 Don't Cheat.
It is wrong and it shows that your a scumbag if you do it. So don't!

#10 Surround yourself with good people.
Hopefully if you are in honors then you are already surrounded by the best of the best kids, but still your friends reflect a lot about who you are, so make sure you have good friends.
