Top ten things you need to know about being in Language Arts Honors

DON’T procrastinate It becomes a mess when you have to do everything at the last minute and
don’t have any time.

Turn things in one time because if you don't your grade is gonna go down and you can also ask
her for an extension if you need one.

Be creative you’re gonna have to do a lot of writing in this class and to pass it you are gonna
have to be creative.

Be nice to your teacher, she is trying to do the best she can and has a lot of work to do and
you don't want to get on her bad side.

Have fun, there is a lot of work in this class, but you just have to finish it all and you will not
have a bad grade.

Pay attention, the teacher may be going over something and you might not be paying attention
and when you have to start working you have no idea what’s going on.

Read, you are going to have to read almost all of the time if you want to keep your grade up
and if you want to get into the iRead club.

Ask questions, if you don’t know what to do you need to ask questions or else you are gonna
get a bad grade for it.

Do your best, this class will not be a difficult class there is just a little bit more work but with
effort it will feel that it is not that difficult.

Keep your grade up, if you have a low grade in this class, you might be kicked out of the
honors program.

  1. Hey Andrea! I really liked your 10 tips that you did, it is a really great advice for the future 7th grade honors class. I honestly think there is nothing to improve, but since this is a comment that we need to do, I'll give you something. Let's see here, maybe you might want to add more reasons on why to procrastinate? Since the 7th graders will be aware on why not to procrastinate instead of just knowing not to procrastinate.
