10 Important Tips you’ll need to know for the year
You will definitely need to use these tips to help you get through the year and stay in honors! The tips that I am about to give you are super important and you will need them!
- Turn your work in on time!! If you have late work it will be hard to make up because then you will have double the work!
- Never ever EVER procrastinate. You’ll hear this a lot but it is so true! If you wait to do something till the very last second you will be super stressed and your work won’t be as good!
- Respect your teacher and do what they tell you! Trust me they know what they are doing and they have everything planned out and ready. So don’t try to change anything.
- Listen and follow the directions. If you don’t listen then you won’t know what to do. Once you listen the first time they explain it, it sounds a lot easier and you’ll understand it more.
- Have a good attitude. If you act sassy or snarky then your teacher won’t be as easy or nice to you and that would suck!!
- Read your books! If you don’t finish the bingo card then you won’t be in the Iread club! Be honest and actually read you’ll feel a lot better if you tell the trust and read! It’s not that hard!!!
- Do first things first. When you get home from school think through all your classes and see if you have homework. Don’t forget, your grades depend on you! ;)
- While the teacher is talking DON’T TALK if you do then they will get super frustrated and mad. When your teacher is explaining homework and you are not listening you’ll be in a bad position and might get extra homework!
- Try your hardest on all of the assignments. If you do you’ll surprise yourself you may feel like your not supposed to be in this class, YOU CAN DO IT!
- If you don’t work well with others you better learn how because this year you will be doing stuff with your classmates so make friends!
I agree with you that respecting your peers and teachers is an essential thing to honors L.A.
