Ten Things to know about Honors LA

#1 - Don't procrastinate! It just doesn't work, well it does but you get really stressed so try to turn your work in the day after, instead of waiting till the last minute.

#2 - Be respectful to your teacher. They will grow to like and respect you.

#3 - You might not be a nerdy kid but some kids will be. The only thing different from you and them will be that they know a lot more stuff than you.

#4 - READ! Go into Honors LA knowing you will be reading a lot. (Not that it's hard.)

#5 - Listen to instructions. If you pay attention while the teacher is giving instructions it will be a lot easier.

#6 - Your teacher has a lot of stress. Thank them once in a while to make them not regret teaching honors.

#7 - Sometimes turning in late work is better than not turning it in at all. you might get a C, but it is better than having a NP.

#8 - One of the worst things to do is looking at the clock, yes I know it sounds crazy but don't it will make time seem slower.

#9 - Do all the extra credit that is offered. You get a lot of assignments in honors, and some times you think you did good, but you did terrible.

#10 - Know how to write different types of essays. It will make life easier.
