Tips for an Awsome experince in 7th Grade Honners

Let's be real here we all love to get tips on how to become a better person or how to do something right! These 10 tips will not only help you in 7th grade L.A but becoming a better student in general!

#1: DON'T PROCRASTINATE!
When you procrastinate you are just putting yourself in jeopardy in honers! You don't wanna be kicked out of honors because of that do you?  You will also just be making more work for yourself which can cause you to have to do more work, like (Late Work) Yuck! That leads us in to the next one.

#2 DON’T HAVE LATE WORK
This one is a huge one! We all know all of our teachers hate late work. We are putting more stress on them and on ourselves! Why make the work late when you could of been doing it instead of watching or playing video games. Late Work is just a way of showing your teacher that you could care less about being in Honors! DON’T DO THAT! You were picked for a reason don’t ruin that now!

#3 TAKE HONNERS SERIOUSLY!
Like I said before you worked hard to get into this class, you,were,picked.for.a.reason! Is that so hard to understand? If you want to succeed in life you have to want it, If you don’t want it then what are you doing! Make sure that you are putting your hard work and focus foot forward! DO YOUR BEST! Because that will make all the difference, and will make you stand out!

#4 LEARN SOMETHING!
In honors you tend to learn a lot more than an average L.A class. When you learn something really think about it and enjoy it. DON’T LET IT FLOAT OVER YOUR HEAD! I promise you it will help you in the long run, if you take the time to really explore your topics you will excel in them and you just might be the top of the class!

#5 EVERYTHING TAKES PATIENCE AND PRACTICE!
I want you to imagine me YELLING this at you! “DON’T GIVE UP! EVEN IF YOU DON’T GET IT! YOU WILL! Everything takes patience and practice don’t give up in one try! You will never know your full potential that way! Life is all about failing and getting back up and trying again. Don’t let one mistake kill your willingness to try over and over again tell you get it right.

#6 LOVE YOUR TEACHERS
Your teachers are at school everyday just like you! DON’T BE MEAN TO THEM! Just remember everyone makes mistakes, take it easy on your teachers they are trying to help you succeed and excel in your class! Don’t make life harder for them by being mean or braty! NO MATTER WHAT!

#7 RESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS
This one is more of a general thought than anything. Respect your surroundings will not only help you improve and sustain relationships with others, it will also help you stand out and make you shine like the amazing students you are! Just remember this is not a playground but instead a place to learn and create!

#8 KEEP YOUR ATTITUDE TO YOURSELf
Don’t let a bad day or a upsetting accident lead you away from succeeding in class! I know we all have bad days, but no need to take that out on your peers and teachers! When you do that you are only degrading yourself but you make it hard for others as well! We all are affected by one's choices, so one bad attitude can ruin any class any day! LEARN TO KEEP YOUR BAD ATTITUDE TO YOURSELF!

#9 WATCH YOUR GRADES
With every subject comes grades! Whether its a A or maybe even an NP you need to be constantly trying to improve it! If your grade drops do some extra credit or ask your teacher what you can do! Bad grades in school won’t help you later on, so why jeopardize your future now when you can make it better with grades! CARE ABOUT YOUR GRADES THEY ARE IMPORTANT!

#9 HAVE FUN!!
Your in 7th grade now the top of the school, in fact the last year at this school. You need to have a bit of fun here and there, Whether you have friends in your class or just love to make the assignments entertaining! You need to enjoy school to survive school or anything! Having fun and enjoying something will help you hold onto the knowledge you learn in a special way! And plus the 7th grade parties are AMAZING!

Hope these tips will help you in this AMAZING journey ahead!

Best of Luck, McKaye Haws!
