10 things I wish I knew at the start of the year

1. Do not procrastinate.
When you are in honors it is not like other classes, you cannot sit back and wait til the last minute to do work, you will get stressed out and it will make your work a lot harder.

2. Mrs. Robins will always help you.
Sometimes this class can seem confusing and stressful but if you are falling behind or need the answer to an important question, Mrs. Robins will always help you catch up.

3. Pay attention in class.
In class you always want to be paying attention because, Mrs. Robins usually gives out a lot of important information. This will also make confusing assignment a lot more clear.

4. Get your work turned in on time.
In this class Mrs. Robins will give you a lot of time to work on assignments so you need to make sure they get turned in on time and, Mrs. Robins expects it so get your work in on time your it could really hurt your grade.

5. Check your email and blog every day.
Lots of the time if Mrs. Robins needs to give you a massage that she does not have time to give in class she will always send you an email or tell you on the blog. You want to make sure you check them every day because it might be important.

6. Read a lot.
In this class you will need to do a lot of reading, you will need to read for book checks to get a good grade. Reading will also help you a lot in this class, it will help you understand the passages more. One final cool perk about reading is if you fill out a bingo card you can go to a huge end of the year party.

7. Do your best on your assignments.
You should always do your best on all your assignments it will prepare you for 8th grade and your future and you will always get a good grade on that assignment. Plus Mrs. Robins will appreciate it a lot.

8.  Do your work as early as possible.
If you do not do your work time will fly and you will have to rush to do your work, you can also sometimes get extra credit and Mrs. Robins will like that a lot.

9. Stay Organized.
In this class you will get a lot of work, so you want to stay organized and have everything planned out. This will help you a lot and you will get a good grade.

10. Have Fun.
This class can get stressful at times but remember to have fun, it helps you with your stress and it will help you do better if you have a good attitude. Plus Mrs. Robins is lots of fun anyway.
