10 things you need to be aware of for 7th grade LA

#1:  DON’T PROCRASTINATE:   this is where you get an assignment and you wait to do it until the
day it is due so this makes you have a lot of pressure and stress. So if I were you, I would try to at least
get it done within the first two or three days.

#2:  WORK WITH ALL OFF YOUR CLASSMATES:  this is so so important mainly because your
classmates can really help you out and you can really help them too!

#3:  FOCUS ON YOUR GRADES:  Grades are very important! Your grades are going to start
counting for college in 9th grade so now is a good time to start trying real hard to keep those grades up!!

#4:  BE RESPECTFUL TO MRS. ROBINS:  this is important because being respectful is a big role
in 7th grade. Especially because Mrs. Robins does so so much for you.

#5:  MAKE NEW FRIENDS WITH YOUR CLASSMATES: it’s so important to make friends with
your classmates because you will be working with them a lot this year.

#6:  LISTEN TO THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT MRS. ROBINS GIVES YOU: this is SO
important, it’s probably one of the most important things you should know. This is important because
if you do not listen to her when she is explaining an assignment, then it’s going to be very hard for you
to get your assignment done and it could affect your grade.

#7: DON’T MISS CLASS: try not to miss class or go out of town too much because it can be hard to
make up assignments.

#8:  DO YOUR VERY BEST ON ALL ASSIGNMENTS: if you do not do your best then your grade
will go down so it’s important that you do your very best on every assignment.

#9:  READ READ READ:  this is important because you will do a lot of reading in Language Arts
this year.

#10:  DO YOUR BEST!!! We believe in you and so does Mrs. Robins! Always feel free to ask Mrs. Robins for help in class when you need it and do your best!
