New Year, New You!
It’s a new year--a great time to set new goals and change old habits. Last year I fell into a bad routine of staying up way too late. Every morning I would be so tired and grumpy but just blamed it on school starting too early. After having a few weeks over winter break to recharge, I realized that it's not the school’s fault, it's mine. In 2019 I will change my bad habit and stop staying up so late. I am promising myself to go to bed earlier so I can get enough sleep. Even if I get home late from dance, have a lot of homework or would rather watch one more episode of my show on Hulu, I will go to bed. I think that when I do this, I will become a happier person and have the energy I need to make it through the day. When I stay up late, I wear myself out in the first hour at school. I need to last through the whole day! Hopefully this year I will make a change and I can get the sleep I need. I will be a better, nicer, well-rested person.
Great job! That was awesome! I loved how you promised yourself and were sure that you will do it. I also loved your title. The only thing that I would have fixed is you put to spaces before hopfully and you forgot a coma on the 7th sentence. Keep up the great work!

ReplyDeleteThis is a great thing to work on! Heck, I had a life coach help me train myself to get to bed on time because it makes a HUGE difference! She had me set a goal to drop everything and go to my room at a certain time--huge help! I'm impressed by the ownership and awareness you have--that's awesome and very mature:) As you revise, add information about how the magic will happen. Great writing and interesting post all around!
