When I read the blog posts from last year’s L.A honors class, the best pieces
of advice were NEVER procrastinate on any of your assignments. This will help
me to know to not turn my assignments in at the last minute. This will also help
me earn good grades and I can do better on my work if I am not turning it in on
the last minute. The second piece of advice is to ALWAYS pay attention in class.
Even if you are tired or just having a lazy day, you should always pay attention to
Mrs. Robins during class. This piece of advice will help me to always listen to instructions,
and get my work done the way I’m supposed to. The last piece of advice that I got was to
ALWAYS be social in class, especially during group activities. I read in one of the blog posts
that this skill is crucial if you want to succeed in Mrs. Robins’ class.

Writing is one of my favorite parts of language arts. I started writing when I was little,
and it as just for fun. I liked to make up stories about things that I had read or had seen.
I don’t know the exact age that I started writing, but I know that it started somewhere in
elementary school. My favorite kind of writing is creative because you get to imagine what the
characters might do or say. It’s also just really fun to do!! Writing is a great way to get your brain
thinking and that’s why I love it!

  3. Writing does get your brain thinking! I believe that too,
throughout the year you'll have opportunity for plenty of writing to do.
Being social is important, to come out of your shell.
I know you'll be a great asset to this class; you're going to do so well!
