As I was reading the essays from last years honors students I noticed that almost
every single one of them said “don’t procrastinate” or something along those lines,
so i was thinking "ok this must be important” and I was right, but a lot of them said to
just have fun and don’t stress and believe me I was stressing, but I looked down
and saw that I knew the person that wrote that essay and that calmed me down a lot.
The three tips that stood out to me the most were don’t procrastinate! Have fun, and
don’t stress. These are what I’m going to strive to do this year.

I used to love writing but I don’t love it as much as I used to. When we got this
assignment I started thinking about when I started to write and I think I started to write in
church. During sacrament I would be bored so I’d start to write stories that excited me
a lot of the time I would write about my siblings and stuff they were going through
but other times I would write adventure\fantasy stories. When I started sixth grade
I was excited about language arts because I loved writing but then I started writing
essays and stuff for a grade that I didn't really enjoy so I started to not like it as much.
I’m hoping honors language arts will help me love writing again!

  2. This was really good! I liked when you put what you were thinking! The only thing I would change is you just forgot to capitalize a I that's it!

  4. Writing in church to stave off boredom made me grin,
I think you'll love Honors this year; you'll definitely fit in!
Essays do have a place in LA, but they're not my favorite either,
we'll do other writing to balance it so it won't be such a bother:)
