There were lots of great tips from the previous honors students but the most important pieces of advice I learned was to not procrastinate, read a lot, and to constantly check Mrs. Robins blog. Not to procrastinate was one that stood out to me a ton. In almost every single letter from previous honors students they said to not procrastinate. If you procrastinate you will be super overwhelmed and your work will be sloppy. Next tip that will be very useful is to read a lot. In class we have to read a book a week. If I don't my grade will go down. Although I don't like reading very much if I am reading a book that I'm interested in I can't put it down. Last tip is to constantly check Mrs. Robins blog. Mrs. Robins has all the assignments for the day on her blog. Sometimes she even puts stuff on there that can get you a robins reward or treat.
I have always loved writing !! It has always been something I'm good at. I started really enjoying writing in 5th grade. I think the reason I love it so much is because it comes so easy to me. I can take an article and create a 5 paragraph essay about it. I love writing and I'm very excited for this school year for more writing assignments !!

I like your story about how you got in to writing. I would number the 3 things that you learned though. Otherwise, keep up the good work Haley!
ReplyDeletegreat job Haley I liked how in each you explained why each one is important and I liked hearing that writing an essay comes easy to you.
