Fictional Love letter from Bracken to Kendra (FableHaven)

Dearest Kendra,

Can you believe it? We finally fixed up the shrine at Fablehaven to the
new fairy realm, so I can finally visit you! I’ll finally be able to visit more
often, and maybe I can get to know your grandparents better. Not only that,
I can visit with Seth and hang out with him. But that’s not the only reason
I want to visit Fablehaven. I want to visit you. Ever since the first time I
laid eyes on you, I’ve been attracted to you. I mean, what unicorn wouldn’t
be drawn to a fair maiden such as yourself? You truly are one of a kind,
Kendra. And guess what the good news is? This time, against all odds, my
mother approves! Here’s the problem though, even though my mind doesn’t
feel old, we both know I’ve existed for a long time. Chronologically, I’ve
existed for so long I make your grandparents look like infants. I care for
you deeply, Kendra. Always remember that. Hopefully in a few years,
when you mature, we’ll be able to figure something out. In the meantime,
I hope I will be able to visit you more, and get to know you better.
