(See what I mean! There is a pumpkin pie in the corner!)

There are many reasons to love Thanksgiving. It’s a time to gather with family, a time to have a break from school, a time to enjoy cooler weather, and a time for dessert! Pumpkin pie is the most mouthwatering, delicious plate on any Thanksgiving table. Who can resist the classic fall favorite? Not only does it taste good, it also has a strong historical significance.  According to the website Delish, “Pumpkin pie was so important to early Thanksgiving feasts that in 1705 the Connecticut town of Colchester famously postponed its Thanksgiving for a week because there wasn't enough molasses available to make pumpkin pie. Basically, there IS NO FALL without pumpkin pie”.  If pumpkin pie was an integral part of Thanksgiving over three hundred years ago, it has real staying power! That is why pumpkin pie is officially the best dish on Thanksgiving!

  2. I liked how you started your paragraph with what people do during Thanksgiving break. This really attracts the reader. Maybe you could try making the paragraph longer.

  3. Wow, amazing! I love how you used such convincing and to-the-point evidence. It really shows the significance of pumpkin pie and its influence on the Thanksgiving season. I'm really struggling to find something that you could improve, but so far I can't think of anything except maybe introducing facts on how it is a thanksgiving favorite. Great job!
