Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because I get to spend extra time with family, Get time away from school, and get to eat one of my favorite meals. Turkey is my favorite!! When you take a bite the juice in the meat just makes your mouth watery. Who doesn't want a mouth watering bite of deliciousness! Not only does the turkey taste delicious, many people eat it on Thanksgiving. According to the website www.History.com says that when the pilgrims came to the U.S, the Indians and the pilgrims didn't have an oven and the sugar was running low so they didn't have any cakes, pies, or other deserts. Turkey was what they mostly ate with the corn. As you can see, turkey has been loved at Thanksgiving for a long time.
