Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Have you ever wondered how Saint Patrick’s day began? Well according to Wikipedia, “The day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland and celebrates the heritage and culture of the Irish in general.” So how do we start celebrating it? Well on the website timeanddate.com, it says that the holiday celebrates the Irish-American culture that is throughout the United States. So, everyone might not celebrate it, but do you? In my home we don’t usually have a special meal or anything, but my siblings do take advantage of the whole pinching thing. If you are not wearing the tiniest bit of green on Saint Patrick's day in my house, the odds of getting pinched are very high! So if you choose to celebrate on Saint Patrick’s day, you can celebrate however you want.
