As I pondered which of the many prompts to write about, I saw the opportunity for personal entertainment. I walked up to McKaye and and asked in the most serious tone I could summon,
"Can you interview me? I want to mow your lawn." As you might expect McKaye was extremely confused for a few seconds, but she was experienced in dealing with my weirdness and recovered quickly. It was one of the most awkward experiences of my life, except that one time when.... anyway. I went something like the following paragraph.
I sat down and McKaye asked me,"why do you want this job?", in typical me fashion I replied, "Because I'm poor and need money"
McKaye continued,"What makes you good for this job?"
"I am probably the only person applying for this job plus, i'm probably more used to yard work."
It was this point when Ashlie decided to jump in MY interview. The normally polite Anderson thought it was a good idea to verbally fight me for the position. Naturally, in my time of greatest need, my eloquent and massive vocabulary deserted me and I proceeded to argue like a second grader. In the end, we both decided that arguing over a fake job made us both look stupid... but I won. In the end, I think I got the experience of proving why I'm more qualified for a position. I also learned that anything can be entertaining if you look at it the right way.

At dinner, sit down with your parents and ask them about their days. Try to listen and ask interesting questions. Then, write about your experience.
I completed this experiment with some cards called “Chit Chat”. It was fun because there were some cards for the parents to ask for their children. My mom and dad took turns with the cards and I had a
pack of cards for myself to ask my parents. It was weird at first because we don’t usually talk a lot about ourselves or actually have a conversation. It would always go something like this: Mom: “So, how was
school.” Me: “it was good.” Mom: what did you do at school?” Me: “ stuff, I have a lot of homework though”. I would start playing with my little brother because he would start screaming my name if I didn’t.
That would be the end of the conversation. These cards helped me a lot and I think that if I keep asking
questions and actually have conversations with my parents we would have a little bond and maybe,
( I said maybe) there might be a chance that they could trust me more and I could approach them more easily when asking a favor. ;).

thought I would at first. I learned what they liked most about me, their favorite story about someone in this family, what’s the most difficult part of being a parent and so on. There were some interesting questions too. “ Why do you think kids say bad things to each other” and “what is the story of my name?”

My Parents Budget
Ask your parents to go over their budget with you and learn how much things like your family's home, food, and car cost. Then, write about what you learned.
I always thought I knew what my parents had to pay and what they spent when they paid bills, but boy was I in for a good one. I knew about a lot of things, but I didn't realize how much it all actually cost. When I sat down and talked with them, they wrote it all down on paper, and let me tell you the list was pretty long. There are utilities, food, transportation, health care, and rent. Those are the basics, and that pretty much all I thought it was. We are a family of three so making sure we all have what we need and what we want is a really big bill all combined. There might be a lot of things that are small and don't cost so much, but eventually, it will add up to a higher amount.
Once you get farther into the list, you come to paying all of our phone bills, buying all of us little things that we see at the store, 'cause trust me it all adds up. We also have rabbits and chickens, and they have to eat too right. Then you come back to health care, my prescription on my glasses changes very frequently, and the insurance only covers every so often. I also play softball, and my equipment is also a little bit pricy for my family's budget. My parents have credit cards too, and paying them off can cost a lot. All in all, when you ask your parents for something, and they say not this time or I can't right now, It's not cause they don't love you or just don't want to get it. Sometimes they just don't have the money, or they are saving it to pay off other things.

Easy Money
I am actually in this position right now, except for I need to earn $250. My plan to help me earn the money is to first start saving what I already have. You can’t try to earn all of the $100 without the help of the money you already have. I would be careful and watch the things that I do with my friends and family or just for myself that cost money. I would also ask my friends and family on their experiences in saving money, so that I won't make the same mistakes!
The second thing I would do is try and do extra jobs that I can earn money from, like babysitting or anything else that would help me raise the money. I would also take more of my time to put my effort into the extra jobs that I do. Another thing that I would do to help me is again ask my family and friends on what jobs are easy/fun or hard and that make a good amount of money. The next thing I am going to do is set goals every month or week or so. So that I will have energy and something to look forward to. That is how I would ( and am ) going to make $100 in a short time!
Learning to Crochet
I recently took the opportunity to learn how to crochet. My step-grandma Sharon
was able to teach me this skill. My sister and I would go to her house after school
and practice with her for a couple of hours. Sharon started out by giving us each
our own crochet hook. She showed us the first few basic stitches. We picked it up
quickly and got into more complex stitches.

We made many things during these after school hours. Some of these items
included, dish towels, beanies, and hair ties. This was a good experience for me
to have had. I was able to learn a new skill that I could benefit from. Learning to
crochet has opened a new door for me, I am very happy that I had that opportunity.

Quick Cash
What I would do if I needed to make a $100 in a short period of time. And how my opportunities will change through the years.
If i needed to make a hundred dollars in a short period of time right now in 2019 I would start a local lawn care business and hire my friends to do the work. My plan would be to charge the customer 100% of the price then let my friends (employees) take 70% ,leave 10% to repair any damages, and I would keep 20% as manager and head of marketing + advertising. Then over time the 20% will start adding up and then I would soon have my $100.
In the coming years if i need to make a quick $100 I would probably just sell some junk thats laying around. A garage sale might be a good option. I would find the price that I payed for an object that now has no worth to me I would then find 75% of that price and list said object for 25% off. Thats what I would do if I needed to make some quick cash in the coming years.
In life you will grow, and you’ll learn new things
and new basic
life skills. Out of the many things you
will need to learn, one of the most important is to
learn how to drive.
- You should learn all the basic signs, how a car works, parts of the cars etc. If you don’t learn about the road and about a car, there’s no way you’ll be able to drive.
2. You should get your permit. Once you get
your permit you’re able to drive with parental supervision.
To get your permit, you’ll have to be a certain
age it depends on the state you live in, it could
be from ages 14-18, when you’re able to, you can go and
take a test on the laws, etc.
3. Even if you got your permit, you should keep on
practicing. Go out with your parents and keep on
practicing and working on making sure you remember the
laws and road signs. When you practice you should make sure
it’s in a safe area away from a lot of people.
4. Finally when you’re old enough you should go out and
get your license. Take your drivers test and keep on
trying until you succeed.
